- Sending an email order to DDD SYSTEMS Art PRINTER, without comment on the following terms and conditions, constitutes legal acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Customers ‘Buy’ a photograph for their personal use. Copyright is retained by Dr. Dan Diaper and all photographs are so marked. All commercial uses of photographs are prohibited without the written permission of Dr. Diaper; the ‘Buy Copyright’ option (below) provides an affordable mechanism for such commercial uses.
Customers who ‘Buy’ a photograph may print it one or more times, use it on their own computers, but should not distribute it via electronic media where it can be copied by people who have not bought it.
Customers who
consider making more than one poster
sized prints from a photograph for their own use, are advised that a more
aesthetic option may be to ‘Buy’ a set of related photographs.
Customers who require clarification of the above terms and conditions should contact Dr. Dan Diaper, who will also consider all reasonable requests to modifications to the above.
The ‘Buy Copyright’ Option
The ‘Buy Copyright’ option allows customers to own the photograph and all rights to it, and to use it in any way they wish. DDD SYSTEMS Art PRINTER will supply the source .jpeg file that can be accessed on this website without any text or graphical additions and, on request, the larger .jpeg file that came directly from the digital camera.
DDD SYSTEMS Art PRINTER will cease to use the photograph for any commercial purposes, except using photographs purchased under the ‘Buy Copyright’ option for publicity about its own services, unless explicitly prohibited to do so by the purchaser. DDD SYSTEMS Art PRINTER is allowed to retain back-up digital copies of photographs unless explicitly prohibited to do so by the purchaser.
The ‘Buy All Copyright’ Option
DDD SYSTEMS Art PRINTER will often have further versions of photographs related to those in the Photograph Gallery. Customers who wish to purchase the copyright to all versions of a photograph, set of photographs, or all related photographs, should contact Dr. Dan Diaper to negotiate arrangements.
