How
often do people write what they mean?
What fraction of readers understand what an author means?
Dr. Diaper considers himself a professional technical author, and all the evidence from referees of his own papers appears to support his opinion. He has often acted as a referee for journal and conference papers and for project proposals/reports. Dr. Diaper is a very experienced editor: for a dozen years he was the General Editor & Manager of the Elsevier journal ‘Interacting with Computers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Human-Computer Interaction’; as co-editor of the Springer ‘Computer Supported Cooperative Work’ book series, over 30 books on specialist CSCW topics were published in a decade; and he has edited conference proceedings and individual books (see his curriculum vitae for further details).

Dr. Diaper is willing to help clients draft documents, although this is always a complicated process. More usually, Dr. Diaper will help by editing a draft, which can, as appropriate, range from proof reading, to producing a referee’s report, or to him rewriting substantial portions of a document. Dr. Diaper is able to cover many theoretical and applied areas within either computing or psychology, not necessarily restricted by his published research interests. Potential clients should contact Dr. Diaper to first discuss the topic of the work and its current state.
Dr. Diaper is an expert on the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, which he has used for many purposes beyond just as a lecture presentation mechanism. DDD SYSTEMS offers a PowerPoint preparation service.
