Aimed at Serious Amateur Photographers who
want to improve their own photography, this e-book provides advice, examples
and exercises using the author’s own philosophy to Art Photography and is
heavily influenced by his professional work in scientific and engineering
psychology. Topics range from the high
level, learning to see beauty in the mundane, achieving simplicity through
complexity, and vice versa, to detailed examinations of composition, apparent
depth planes, form, colour and the differences between naked eye perception and
what cameras record. Work at the
viewfinder is emphasised and the multi-factor decision making needed to select
from sets of highly similar photographs is explored extensively.
The e-book contains 300 high resolution (7
million pixels) photographs and 45K words.
The subject index contains over 100 terms and nearly 400 entries which
act as hyperlinks to the appropriate paragraphs in the book. In HTML format, the e-book will auto-load run
